Our Business Story

Hanajina Bulimwengu, Fikirini Kakamba, and Elembe Songolo were resettled in the United States, where they observed that many immigrants were struggling to meet basic needs across the country. 2017 In response, Hanajina Bulimwengu began traveling throughout the U.S, mobilizing community members to come together and support one another during difficult times. He also noticed that many immigrant refugees lacked life insurance. This inspired the vision of uniting our communities to become ONE COMMUNITY (Bajoba), regardless of skin color, religious beliefs, gender, or political views—working collectively for inclusive development while promoting and preserving our culture and help each others.

What Sets Us Apart

Our organization stands out because we focus not just on social connection, but on building a strong, culturally rooted sense of community for BAJOBA living in the United States. While other groups may provide general immigrant support, we offer:

  • Cultural Familiarity and Comfort: We create a space where members feel truly at home, preserving and celebrating BAJOBA traditions and identity.
  • Holistic Support: Beyond social activities, we provide opportunities for personal growth, mentorship, and mutual assistance in navigating life in the U.S.
  • Inclusive Unity: We actively bring together members regardless of skin color, gender, religious beliefs, or political views, fostering a sense of belonging for everyone.
  • Community-driven Charitable Engagement: We mobilize our members to support one another through social initiatives, outreach programs, and charitable activities that directly impact lives.
  • Trusted Leadership: Our leaders are dedicated, experienced, and deeply connected to the BAJOBA community, ensuring programs are relevant and effective.
