Mutambala K. Swedi has extensive experience working with international and local humanitarian organizations. From 2009 to 2011, he served as a Singer Supervisor with GTZ International Organization in Kenya. He continued in a similar role with GIZ from 2012 to 2014, followed by service as a Singer Supervisor with NRC International Organization from 2014 to 2016. In 2017, he briefly worked as a Supervisor with AAH International Organization for three months before transitioning to LOCADO, a local organization, where he served as a Supervisor until February 2018. From February to November 2018, he worked as a Counselor with LWF (Lutheran World Federation), an international organization.


Within Kimwe Kye Bajoba USA, Swedi serves as the primary representative of the community’s challenges and achievements on the Executive Committee, advocating for the needs and interests of the State of Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska. He oversees community activities within those states, represents members’ concerns, coordinates programs and initiatives, and ensures that all state-level efforts align with the mission and values of Kimwe Kye Bajoba USA.
